How to graduate

The final examination (Master’s thesis) is based on a project, preferably carried out individually or, at most, by two candidates, and consists of the development and discussion of an original, high-quality project, supported by a model or three-dimensional prototype. The thesis may also be developed in collaboration with and in close connection with the student’s internship experience.

The thesis topic must be agreed upon with a lecturer who will act as the thesis supervisor.

Instructions for Thesis Registration

The required materials for the Master’s thesis, to be agreed upon with the supervisor, are:

  • A thesis report;
  • A project model/prototype;
  • One vertical graphic panel in 70 × 100 cm format (optional).

If the thesis is prepared by two candidates, the number of deliverables and the contribution of each candidate will be defined in agreement with the supervisor.

Final Assessment Criteria

The final grade is based on the following criteria:

  • The weighted average, expressed on a scale of 110, of the grades obtained in individual examinations (see how the average is calculated);
  • The evaluation of the final examination, which considers both the overall preparation demonstrated during the defence and the quality of the thesis work and its presentation, and is expressed on a scale from 0 to 10 points.
